About The Author
Maulana Idris Kandehlawi completed his studies at Mazahir ‘Ulum (Saharanpur) and Darul Ulum Deoband in India. His teachers included the likes of Maulana Khalil Ahmad Saharanpuri, ‘Allamah Shabbir Ahmad Uthmani and ‘Allamah Anwar Shah Kashmiri. He stood out as a scholar of hadith and tafsir, as a poet and ascetic.
He was a man of learning and spent his life immersed in the study and teaching of the sacred sciences. He authored a number of books on tafsir, hadith, and Islamic theology.
